THIS WILL BE A SENIOR LEVEL RESOURCE WITH EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH MID SIZED COMPANIES RATHER THAN HUGE ENTERPRISES. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE GREAT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND HAVE RECENT, EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE SORTING OUT HARDWARE PROBLEMS AND INTEGRATING BOT COMPANIES RESOURCES.
Job Description:
This role is strategically focused with how to handle the integration .mostly from a logistics and hardware perspective. Tech inventory, swapping out old PCs/Macs, server consolidation, etc. It would be great if they happened to also have an enterprise architecture background as well to also deal with how both companies' systems can operate together, but more of the focus they really need is in infrastructure/hardware.
- Engagement Overview:
Lead the post-merger hardware integration strategy, consolidating assets from multiple organizations into a unified enterprise inventory.
- Conduct a comprehensive audit and assessment of hardware assets, including servers, networking equipment, end-user devices, and peripherals.
- Establish and maintain a centralized asset management system for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on enterprise hardware.
- Define and implement hardware lifecycle management policies, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
- Collaborate with IT, procurement, finance, and business units to ensure hardware standards and policies are aligned across the enterprise.
- Identify and eliminate redundancies and inefficiencies, optimizing costs through rationalization and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with security, licensing, and regulatory requirements for all hardware assets.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the hardware asset management team.
- Develop and present regular reporting and insights on asset utilization, lifecycle costs, and optimization opportunities to senior leadership.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning by ensuring hardware resilience and redundancy are in place.

Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Master s preferred).
- 7+ years of IT asset management or hardware lifecycle management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Experience managing hardware integration and optimization in merger/acquisition scenarios strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT hardware, including servers, storage, networking, and end-user computing.
- Proficiency with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and CMDB systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in fast-changing environments.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
