Senior UI/UX Developer (Angular)

In-office at Ashburn, VA, 5 days/week for the first year then 2 days/week thereafter

Full Time

Clearance:

• Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (CBP Final). Candidates with existing Active CBP BI, DoD Top Secret, or another DHS component clearance will be prioritized

Must be proficient in Angular, Front end development, Springboot

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of front-end developers in designing, developing, and maintaining complex user-interface applications using Angular framework.
• Support hands on development of user-interface applications using Angular framework.
• Support code reviews and mentoring for junior developers.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner, system engineers, developers, testers, and other stakeholders on the team.
• Be an active member of an Agile development team, responsible for participating in all Agile ceremonies, updating Jira tasks daily and contributing to continual improvement strategies
• Troubleshoot complex issues in production and non-production systems
• Identify, report, and track defects using tools such as Jira
• Learn new technical skills to meet the needs of the project and our customers

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in related field
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
• Strong expertise in Angular 12+ framework and latest features
• Proficient in NgRx for state management in complex applications
• Advanced UI/UX development skills with ability to create intuitive interfaces
• Expert-level knowledge of HTML5 and semantic markup
• Advanced CSS3 skills including Flexbox and CSS Grid (flexgrid)
• Proficient in SASS/SCSS for maintainable styling architecture
• Strong JSON handling and API integration experience
• Theme development expertise, including custom styling frameworks
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Understanding of modern build tools and development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, back-end developers, and product stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly
