Job Description:
Pay Range: $41hr - $47hr
Pay Range: $41hr - $47hr
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Troubleshooting problems with existing networks to determine the cause of malfunctions or breakdowns and recommending solutions.
- XXgning and creating new computer networks according to company specifications.
- Analyzing network performance to identify areas for improvement
- Installing new network hardware and software, including APs, routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other equipment.
- Performing risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to improve security.
- Installing new or replace existing network equipment and updating software packages.
- Day to Day operational support to 50 plus sites for Intranet, internet, wifi etc
- Coordinating with other departments, such as IT, to ensure that new system implementations meet the needs of other departments within the organization
- Monitor network to ensure security, availability, and performance.
- Assist other IT teams with network project level work.
- Maintain and support enterprise SSIDs and wireless controllers.
- Maintain and support VPN for 1000 PClientT employees.
- Candidateage high/moderate complexity projects.
- Troubleshoot network and application performance.
- Be network on-call.
- Document issues, resolutions, and changes in appropriate systems.
- Assist with other necessary network tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, networking administration, information technology, or a similar field.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Citrix Netscaler for switching, routing, firewalls, wireless access points, wireless controller, and application delivery.
- Experience with RSA SecurID desired.
- In depth Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, wireless networks, firewalls, DNS, SD-WAN and VoIP.
- Deep understanding of routing, switching and firewalling technologies
- Familiarization with data center design.
- Cisco CCNP or better certification.
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and demonstrate a strong level of emotional intelligence.
- At least 5 plus years' experience as a network engineer.
