Job Details

We are seeking a hands on Project Manager/Business Analyst/ with Fixed Income / Capital Markets experience.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Finance, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, Economics or related major.
  • 10+ years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in planning projects with large data sets and making decisions for data-driven analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills are required, including eliciting and documenting user requirements.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate ideas.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience partnering with business users to implement technological change, prior fixed income knowledge preferred
  • Experienced in Project Management Tools like JIRA , Azure Board .
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income and Investment Management
  • PMP certification

Role: The Project Manager will collaborate with various teams across the firm to understand business needs and identify how technology can meet those needs through the design and implementation of efficient processes and tools. The PM will liaison with Business Sponsors and Stakeholders to understand the business problem we are solving for and the intended outcome.

She/he will strategize on the approach, collaborate on requirement definitions and partner with the Development Team to architect and implement a solution.

Responsible for acting as a liaison between the development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.

As well as, liaising between technology team and end users by assisting in the implementation of new applications and managing existing systems and processes. Analyzes and communicates the business needs from the business users to the development group and partners with the developers in the specifications, designs and integration of new networks, telecommunications, market data services, etc.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Lead and assist in development of projects and programs that will establish quality objectives.
  • Manage teams through all phases of cycle development, including analysis, project design and development, testing periods, installation and final delivery.
  • Interface directly with managers, employees, vendors and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations.
  • Eliciting and documenting user requirements.
  • Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control and risk factors.
  • Identify complex risks, lead reviews, create risk mitigation and implement action plans.
  • Manage multiple projects individually and as a team, all simultaneously.
  • Enhance company and department reputation by accepting ownership, exploring new possibilities and adding value to the organization.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business strategies, goals and missions.
