Description:
The Judge Group's direct client in the financial services industry is seeking an experienced "System Security Engineer". Location is Manassas, VA/ HYBRID.
Job title: System Security Engineer
Worksite Location: Manassas, VA 20110/ HYBRID
Project Name: Infrastructure Monitoring
It is a new position for the Regulatory Readiness work (Firewall Recertification Tool).
Firewall and BASTION flow Recertification is required for SOL/DOR compliance.
Skills:
Agile methodologies
Background in design, coding, and operations
Experience with ELK, Kafka, ServiceNow, and monitoring tools
Expertise in API integration and microservices architecture
Familiarity with ELK/Kafka connectivity and supporting production environments
Infrastructure monitoring and observability frameworks
Performance tuning and troubleshooting Kafka ingestion pipelines
Proficiency in Ansible playbooks, Unix/Linux administration, and automation
Strong hands-on experience in Java, Python
Unix, Openshift Container, RHEL and Network Monitoring.
