Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions using AWS and/or Azure.
- Translate business requirements into architectural blueprints and technical specifications.
- Lead the integration of systems with Palantir, third-party APIs, and internal platforms.
- Build and maintain microservices using Java and/or Python, and expose via RESTful APIs.
- Develop and deploy cloud-native services using AWS Lambda, Kafka, Databricks or Snowflake.
- Define and maintain solution architecture documents, diagrams, and integration patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and Product teams.
- Ensure architecture decisions align with security, compliance, and scalability best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and recommend tools to enhance platform efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 13+ years of experience in software development, system integration, and architecture roles.
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS required; Azure a plus).
- Proficiency in infrastructure design and deployment within cloud environments.
- Hands-on development skills with Java and/or Python.
- Experience with Kafka, AWS Lambda, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience integrating or working with Palantir platforms.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) or experience in specific verticals (e.g., finance, healthcare, supply chain).
- Certification(s) in AWS, Azure, or other cloud technologies.
