Role : Solution Architect - Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Transformation - Financials

Role Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will be a transformation maven, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of all the modules withing Oracle Fusion Cloud Solution for Financials for a portfolio of Oracle Cloud ERP customers. Leveraging your expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud solutions and program management, you will lead teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet clients' business needs. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead Oracle Fusion Financials projects from initiation to completion, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions aligned with client priorities.
  • Set up and lead effective governance and project delivery overseeing decision-making, deliverables, stage gates, schedule, resources, and costs.
  • Manage onshore and offshore project team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and strategies.

Client Engagement

  • Actively build positive, collaborative relationships with clients to understand their business priorities.
  • Advise clients on using Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud to meet their business needs regarding AR Invoice Billing, Cash Management, Collections, AR Integration with Tax Software such as OneSource or Vertex, Intercompany Accounts Receivables, Tax Reporting (Oracle, One source).
  • Identify stakeholders across customer and internal team and perform deep stakeholder analysis including resource backfills and resource contingency planning.

Solution Design

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to understand business requirements related to Financials within Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Design end-to-end solutions based on best practices enabled by Oracle Financial Cloud modules to meet business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Provide best practices for Chart of Accounts, Inter-Company Transactions, Bank Integrations, usage of Revenue Recognition engine, Recurring AR Billing, etc.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution architecture, configurations, and integrations.
  • Ensure that documentation is accessible and understandable to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Program Planning and Execution

  • Develop integrated project plans and drive teams to on-time and cost-effective completion.
  • Define task level details and accountability across various sub-tracks within an Oracle ERP Transformation.
  • Define milestone entry and exit criteria for milestones in an Oracle ERP Transformation.
  • Identify client responsibilities and commitments upfront, holding them as accountable as internal teams.
  • Incorporate quarterly patch cycle of Oracle along with major finance activities at customer.
  • Incorporate major shut-downs, black-out periods and customer vacation plans into the program planning and task planning.

Problem Solving and Mitigation

  • Deep-dive into existing and potential problem areas, developing corrective action and mitigation plans.
  • Be hands-on when needed to help teams solve problems and achieve successful resolutions.

Continuous Learning and Innovation

  • Stay current on market innovations, Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud methodologies, tooling, and assets/accelerators.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent, with at least 10 years of Information Technology experience in Oracle or any other Tier 1 ERP application.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience delivering and managing complex implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing a team of Oracle Cloud ERP resources, onshore and offshore.
  • Full life cycle implementation experience including Design, Configure Test and Deploy phase.
  • Experience in design implementation, testing and deploying of Business process controls, automated controls, and IT controls.
  • Certifications in Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud are preferred.
  • Strong experience in implementing out of the box HDL tool, application package migration tools.
  • Strong understanding and implementation of segregation of duty frameworks and associated mitigating controls and SOD tools.
  • Integrations with Identity products for enabling SSO.
  • Strong knowledge of key business processes, the inherit risks, and potential controls.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory concerns impacting Oracle Cloud environments relating to Private sector, Government and Public Sectors.
  • Experience in integrating with Oracle Identity Cloud Services.
  • Prior experience with managing Oracle Cloud ERP programs at Big4 or other leading consulting firms is preferred.
  • Prior experience with coordinating Oracle Fusion Financials Transformation programs with Oracle Sales Team, Oracle Support Team, Oracle Customer Success Team is preferred.
  • Prior experience with collaborating across Customer Team, Payroll Software Vendor, Banks, Oracle SCM and Financials team as part of Oracle Cloud ERP Transformation programs is preferred.
  • Atlanta based base location is preferred for the candidate.
  • Professional certification (e.g., PMP) and post-graduate degree are desired.
  • Experience in Agile or Hybrid delivery models.
  • Hands-on experience with project management tools like MS Projects, JIRA and other Project Management applications.

Location

This is a Onsite role in Atlanta, Ga with an expectation of 20% travel within the United States.
