Job Details

DPP is seeking a Senior System Testing Analyst for an opportunity in Columbia, SC.

Work arrangement:
  • Partially onsite: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed in Columbia, SC.
  • W2 position; 12 months
Position summary:
  • Perform testing duties which may involve reviewing test data, creating test cases, executing testing, and monitoring/documenting results.
  • Provide service for multiple clients, including onsite service where needed.
  • Make recommendations to clients on how to improve testing activities.
  • Track quality assurance metrics.
  • Participate in the design phase of projects to ensure that new or modified functions are developed using correct testing methodology.
  • Arrange major activities between the client and IS staff to ensure maximum gain from technical resources.
  • Complete supportive administrative and lead activities such as attending sessions with customers, planning and disbursing projects to team members, completing reports and developing processes.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to testing staff.
About the team:
  • The team provides validation services for claims and data analysis, supporting the testing of work efforts and projects for all lines of business.
  • The immediate team (12 people) is part of a larger Testing Department consisting of around 70 people.
  • The team is working on numerous projects related to claims processing, onboarding new plans to services and managed care work.
Required technologies:
  • 3270 sessions (green screens)
  • Microsoft products and tools
  • Quality Center
  • SharePoint
  • Any automation tools are nice to have
Minimum required work experience:
  • 7 years of IT experience including experience developing test plans and/or test matrices.
Required education/equivalencies:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other job-related degree;
  • OR, Associates degree in CS, IT, or other job-related degree plus 2 years of work-related experience;
  • OR, 4 years job-related work experience (total 11 years without a degree)
Working hours:
  • Remote Monday and Friday
  • Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • May be requested to be onsite 100% as the business need dictates
  • Overtime as needed based on business need
  • Travel between local buildings
  • Weekends and off hours as needed based on business need
