What You’ll Do

You will provide comprehensive IT support and infrastructure management for the Right of Way (ROW) division, ensuring seamless operation of systems across 25 statewide locations. Your responsibilities include the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network equipment. You will support both on-site and remote operations, including secure file transfers, system backups, and disaster recovery implementations.

Long Term Contract

Position Description: The Applications Development Expert provides design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy. The position shall use a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers. This individual will be viewed both internally and externally as a technical expert and critical technical resource across multiple disciplines. His/her responsibilities include performing the following tasks:

1. Developing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements and interfaces, functions and features;
2. Providing expertise regarding the integration of applications across the business;
3. Determining specifications, then plans, designs, and developing the most complex and business critical software solutions, utilizing appropriate software engineering processes (either individually or in concert with a project team);
4. Assisting in the most difficult support problems;
5. Developing programming and development standards and procedures as well as programming architectures for code reuse;
6. Understanding and consistently applying the attributes and processes of current application development methodologies;
7. Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and possible application to the business; and
8. Acting as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent.
9. Highly skilled and experienced Full stack technical lead with strong expertise in Angular and to lead the design, development and delivery of the web application
10. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, mentoring team members, and guiding architecture and design decisions
11. Lead a team of full-stack developers to deliver scalable and high-quality web applications
12. Architect and develop modern, responsive front-end interfaces using Angular (v111+)
13. Design and implement robust backend services and APIs using , Express and related technologies
14. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features
15. Ensure code quality through code reviews, test automation and best practices
16. Take ownership of system architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
17. Guide the team on clean code principles, design patterns, and modular architecture
18. Identify and mitigate technical risks and resolve production issues quickly
19. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend tools to improve development efficiency

Education: This position requires a Bachelor s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience. (Note: A Master s degree is preferred.)

General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience.

8. Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
