Job Overview

Job Requirements & Specifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 7+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications (preferred):
- Salesforce Platform Developer II
- Salesforce Platform Developer I
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce AI or Data Cloud related certification
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations, with a focus on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot or Marketing Cloud
- Customize Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), Flows, and Process Builder.
- Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce and core insurance systems (e.g., policy administration, claims, billing) using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Technical Leadership:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce best practices, security, and platform capabilities.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and administrators.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce development standards.
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-quality releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
- Maintain documentation for solutions, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce Flows.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security, sharing, and data model architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Develop and deploy new Salesforce features and enhancements.
- Review and optimize existing code and configurations.
- Respond to and resolve support tickets and production issues.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document technical designs, processes, and user guides.
- Monitor Salesforce system health and performance.
