Job Details

Title: Epic PB Resolute Professional Billing Consultant

Location: San Mateo, California

Job Description:

You will lead or participate in all phases of the Epic Professional Billing implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, testing, training, and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the Epic PB application to meet business needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Collect, analyze, and document workflows and operational data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to end users.

  • Support system interfaces and ensure integrity of security configurations.

  • Participate in testing processes, software upgrades, user training, and system go-lives.

  • Troubleshoot EHR-related issues and work closely with users and vendors.

  • Maintain test environments, analyze new Epic releases, and ensure quality assurance protocols are followed.

Requirements:

  • Current Epic PB Resolute Billing Certification (with up-to-date CEE)

  • Claims Certification a plus but not mandatory

  • Experience in FQHC settings a plus

  • Minimum 2 years of IT support experience in a healthcare environment

  • At least 6 months of Epic user support experience

  • Experience with Epic Charge Router a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field

  • 3+ years' experience in Epic PB implementation or optimization

  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management, charge capture, and claims processing

  • Proficiency in Epic tools such as Sherlock, Orion, Nova

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
