Summary

A high-impact role for an experienced firmware engineer supporting SSD architecture, system integration, and enterprise-level storage design. This position bridges firmware development, hardware interface, and customer enablement across PCIe/NVMe-based platforms.

What You ll Do

  • Develop, debug, and optimize SSD firmware using PCIe/NVMe protocols
  • Analyze host interface issues using protocol analyzers and logic tools
  • Collaborate with hardware teams and support design-in/debug for enterprise partners
  • Work directly with customer engineering teams to drive technical adoption
  • Represent internal engineering during external platform evaluations
  • Advocate for customer needs while supporting SSD qualification and bring-up
  • Present technical insights and updates in customer meetings

Experience You ll Need

  • 3+ years in SSD firmware or applications engineering
  • Expertise with PCIe/NVMe protocol and related debugging
  • Strong C/C++ skills and hands-on experience with JTAG, ICE, and logic analyzers
  • Experience working in enterprise storage or data center environments
  • Background in SSD controller architecture and hardware/firmware co-design
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows system-level debugging and peripheral interfaces
  • Mandarin fluency (reading/writing) preferred
