Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month contract role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud migration, infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, IoT solutions, and Azure App Services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Azure-based infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute cloud migration projects to Azure


• Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure


• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform


• Implement and manage IoT solutions on Azure


• Configure and maintain Azure App Services


• Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments


• Monitor and optimize system performance and costs


• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Azure cloud services


• Strong expertise in Terraform and IaC principles


• Experience with cloud migration projects


• Experience with Azure IoT solutions


• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Azure App Services


• Knowledge of networking, security, and best practices in cloud environments


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools


• Familiarity with other IaC tools such as Ansible
