Job Description:
- We are seeking a Crisis & Incident Policy Consultant to join Client s Enterprise Resilience program. This role will focus on strengthening our incident management policies, playbooks, and standards to help the company prepare for, respond to, and recover from critical events.
- You will be responsible for process documentation and continuous improvement working across multiple teams to build clear, scalable, and user-friendly resilience frameworks. Unlike a consulting role, this position is hands-on and embedded within our operations to ensure sustainable impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and improve policies, playbooks, and standard operating procedures for enterprise-wide incident response.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Legal, Communications, Safety, Security, Facilities, and Engineering teams to gather inputs and align on resilience practices.
- Analyze existing documentation and processes to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks, and recommend improvements.
- Translate complex incident scenarios (e.g., vehicle collisions, natural disasters, operational outages) into structured, actionable response frameworks.
- Ensure seamless integration of resilience processes across teams, maintaining trust and credibility with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal technical writers for templates and documentation standards while driving process thinking independently.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to evolve resilience and incident management practices.
Experience (Mandatory):
- 3+ years experience in process documentation, policy development, or business resilience/business continuity/incident management.
- Experience in the autonomous vehicle industry is preferred, along with a strong operations background (e.g., ride-hailing, airlines, logistics, or other operations-heavy industries).
- Exceptional written communication skills capable of producing clear, structured, and actionable documentation.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to influence without authority.
- Critical thinker with the ability to analyze, validate, and improve processes, not just document them.
- Flexibility to pivot in a fast-changing, high-pressure environment.
Experience (Desired):
- Knowledge of resilience frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST, or incident command structures.
- Experience working on enterprise-level incident management or crisis response.
- Exposure to policy/process development in operational safety or regulatory environments.
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience.
