Job Description

Client's Resource Industries Electrification Solutions (RIES) team is developing key technologies to help our customers build a better, more sustainable world. Our products will help shape the future of electrified mine sites around the world, and as a critical team member on the program, you will have a pivotal role to work with and lead Client’s team members and experts in the field as well, as well as customers and dealers, to understand critical market needs to drive the development agenda.

 

Note: The key responsibilities will be subject to change as the team is built out, but this is intended to give directional guidance on key responsibilities. This list is intended to encompass the next several months of activities.

 

What you will do:

  • Developing functional product development plans, including requirements, decision A3's, design concepting, detailed design, CPPD efforts, FMEA, validation planning, and technical reports.
  • Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of design iterations.
  • Participating in buy-build analysis for product components and support value chain development efforts.
  • Participating in customer support through rapid resolution to field issues.

 

Degree Requirement:

  • Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering (mechanical or electrical), Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum. Skill Descriptors Technical Excellence:
  • Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.

 

Level Extensive Experience:

  • Advises others on the assessment and provision of all technical solutions.
  • Engages appropriate subject matter resources to effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Mentors others to enhance their technical competence and its application to achieve more effective technical solutions.
  • Coaches others in promoting, defining, analyzing, and providing superior technical solutions to business problems.
  • Provides effective solutions to moderate technical challenges through strong technical competence, effectively examining implications of events and issues.
  • Assumes accountability for personal technical performance and holds others responsible for theirs.
