Above is the minimum criteria, however candidates who meet the below description in addition to top skills above will be prioritized:

  1. Expert Data Modeling
    • Conceptual, logical, and physical modeling
    • Dimensional models, star schemas, fact/dimension entities
    • ER Studio (primary tool)
  2. Snowflake
    • Advanced experience with Snowflake, especially in Azure-hosted environments
  3. SQL & ETL Development
    • Advanced SQL (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization)
    • ETL tools: SSIS, Azure Data Factory
    • Experience building and supporting data pipelines
  4. Azure Ecosystem
    • Azure DevOps (required)
    • Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Server (preferred)
  5. BI & Reporting Support
    • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, SSRS (for troubleshooting, not report creation)
  6. Version Control
    • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or Subversion
  7. Scripting (Nice to Have)
    • PowerShell (potential daily use)
