Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Automated Data Processing Equipment Custodian will serve as custodian for accountable equipment for diverse range of equipment supporting legacy and current IT systems for the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive inventory control, including equipment turn-in and destruction activities.
  • Process hand receipts and maintain active inventory for remote site locations to ensure accountability of all inventoried equipment.
  • Actively engage with site deployments and data center personnel to ensure all equipment is accounted for, consistent with organization policies.
  • As required, receipt for material prepared for destruction pickup.
  • As required, conduct document destruction services, ensuring timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation of any items destroyed, including item type, quantity destroyed, and date of destruction, according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform annual inventory in accordance with Air Force and AFRL policies.
  • Safely operate and maintain document destruction equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Safeguard sensitive information during the destruction process, maintaining confidentiality and protecting client privacy.
  • Author and maintain Policies, Processes, and Procedures within the organization's Strategic IT Management framework.
  • Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements regarding document destruction, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Maintain a neat, secure, and orderly facility.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures, as required.
  • Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
  • Travel up to 10%.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of related work experience with references.
  • Department of Defense experience preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Secret clearance is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Maintain professional manners, have proper telephone and email etiquette, customer service techniques, and organizational skills.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • The ability to perform in a leadership capacity and be capable of directing contractor personnel and interfacing with the Government and customers.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to self-start and work independently or as a team.
  • Ability to learn new systems and associated software applications for proficient execution of tasks and managing multiple tasks with time-related constraints in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
