An education network in Westchester County is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Junior Project Manager to their team. They will play a pivotal role in coordinating wide area networking initiatives. This is a 35-hour workweek, requiring onsite work. Eventually will taper off to hybrid.
Responsibilities:
The Junior Project Manager will:
Coordinate with the wide area networking team to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Conduct regular meetings with project stakeholders to review progress, identify risks, and address issues.
Support the implementation of initiatives such as bandwidth upgrades, firewall configurations, and WAN link enhancements.
Act as a liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and communication.
Assist in documenting project requirements, processes, and outcomes.
Provide administrative support to the project management office as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Basic understanding of technology concepts and networking principles preferred.
Eagerness to learn and grow within the project management field.
