Hi,
Our client is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer with a Contract project in Dallas, TX (Onsite). below is the detailed requirement.
Position : Desktop Support Engineer
Location : Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Duration : Contract
Primary Skillset:
- Good Knowledge on Routing, Switching and other network Protocols
- Good Knowledge on ticketing
Responsibilities:
- Implement network changes during appropriate change windows (after hours)
- Create network changes as required by ticketing system per incident
- Perform LCM (Lifecycle Management) functions
- Perform Vulnerability Management functions
- Identify proper escalations associated with incidents as they occur
- Follow change and engineering standards documentation
- Provide network triage for all network incidents
- Serve as second-tier support for network operations team when needed.
- Participating in on-call support escalation rotation
- Serve as a technical resource providing guidance and advice to L1 Network Operations Team
- 1-3 years of experience in IT monitoring or system administration, with hands-on experience using LogicMonitor or similar monitoring tools.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, HTTP, etc.), infrastructure components (servers, databases, networks), and RESTful API.
- Experience with the configuration and management of monitoring customized dashboards, alerts, and reporting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 1+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments
