Account Growth Director (Tech/Media/Entertainment)
Location: Bay Area, California

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Growth Director to lead strategic business development and client engagement within Technology, Media, and Entertainment (TME) accounts. This role focuses on driving new business opportunities, positioning advanced analytics and AI-driven solutions, and managing multi-threaded client relationships to accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically drive new business in select TME accounts in close synergy with solution and core account teams to achieve sales and margin targets.

  • Position solutions to meet client requirements while serving as a trusted advisor by managing senior-level client relationships.

  • Leverage industry, technology, and consultative sales expertise to assess and educate clients on business and implementation value.

  • Develop deep knowledge of clients business priorities and challenges, translating them into growth opportunities.

  • Build value-added relationships within client organizations and internal account teams.

  • Lead solution sales campaigns independently, fostering trust across large accounts.

  • Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives by combining industry insight and technical expertise.

  • Advance sales campaigns through consultative dialogue, cross-functional engagement, and client workshops.

  • Represent the full portfolio of offerings, with broad expertise across AI, Engineering, Design, and Behavioral Sciences.

Success Profile

  • Proven track record of leading strategic engagements and consistently achieving revenue targets in TME accounts.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage and grow revenue across business functions.

  • Effective storyteller able to map client challenges to capabilities and link them to measurable business outcomes.

  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

  • Collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical and consultative skills.

  • Experience managing large, global teams and achieving account growth objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 12 15 years of experience in the data analytics industry through direct client interaction.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow scaled accounts, manage client relationships across geographies, and drive pre-sales activities.

  • Strong TME domain expertise in Data & Analytics, with knowledge in areas such as Data Engineering, Cloud, Supply Chain, Customer & Marketing Analytics, Reporting Systems, and Revenue Growth Management.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional, and ambiguous environments.

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering, Information Science, or Statistics preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in analytics delivery (visualization tools, advanced analytics, or cloud data tech) is a plus.
