Supply Chain Analyst (Power BI)
Job Description
The primary responsibility of the Power BI Analyst is to leverage data visualization and analytics to support and enhance the organization's supply chain operations. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing strategies to optimize supply chain performance, reduce costs, and improve efficiency through data-driven decision-making.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support supply chain operations and decision-making.
- Analyze supply and demand requirements to identify underperforming areas and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost reduction and product utilization optimization strategies.
- Prepare and present data-driven recommendations to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between the business and vendors, providing support for vendor selection, qualification, and purchasing activities as needed.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity while continuously improving reporting processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, data analysis, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, data modeling, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, purchasing methodologies, and optimization strategies.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or other data query languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
