Job Description:
- The Program Manager for Portfolio Management and Sourcing supporting the Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) within client will be responsible for facilitating the processes associated with optimizing machine utilization across the three sites of PMTC and outsource partners.
- This role involves facilitating and tracking activities involved in capacity/demand analysis, coordination with various departments to ensure the efficient use of capability and capacity and improved operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity/Demand Analysis: Support the team in establishing and maintaining a process for capacity/demand analysis, including reviewing current capacity, forecast demand, and making agreements on capacity reserves.
- Site to Site and Insource/Outsource Management: Enable optimization of internal capacity utilization by managing the transfer of part manufacturing between sites as well as outsourcing and insourcing of components as demand fluctuates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives set by management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs): Track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in program management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various departments and suppliers
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using project management tools and software
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification desirable
Requirements: Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of NPI processes and production planning
- Familiarity with insource/outsource concepts and supplier management
- Experience with Oracle ERP and Opcenter MES/Client systems a plus
