Job Details

Grow your career as a Product Owner with an innovative global bank in Irving, TX. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelors/University degree.
  • 3 to 5 years of direct experience in digital banking & finance in the capacity as a product owner or project manager.
  • Experience coordinating end to end product development lifecycle activities for cross functional projects.
  • Ability to manage concurrent, time-sensitive regulatory projects.
  • Experience with project controls and governance.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience preparing effective PowerPoint presentation decks.
  • Excellent attention to details and highly organized.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong analytical mind to build knowledge and experience independently.
  • Practitioner of agile concepts and behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills.
What You Will Be Doing
  • Coordinate end to end product development lifecycle activities for cross functional projects, with keen ability to manage concurrent, time-sensitive regulatory projects.
  • Collaborate with internal project team to drive measurable progress of the projects and ensure that they are aligned with the product's critical success criteria and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with business counterparts to effectively support their project tracking goals.
  • Create clear and specific project outlines, taking ownership to liaise with key project team members to incorporate latest updates.
  • Focus on controls and governance. Assume a persistent risk mindset to recognize, discern, and escalate risks and issues, demonstrating particular consideration for safeguarding the firm's reputation and assets.
  • Align to characteristics that are conducive to both personal growth and project maturity.
  • Productive both as a team player and independent worker
  • Follow industry standards on product management, its lifecycle and applies these principles to product and strategy.
