Job Details

DataStaff is in need of a .NET Programmer Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Richmond, VA.

*This position is hybrid; 3 days per week will be onsite
Job Description:

  • This is a development position to create applications and services as part of the E-Gov group, assisting the WEG group to build services/applications for connectivity/usability/etc.
  • A thorough knowledge of .NET development (c#/vb.net) methodologies with modern .NET tools such as Visual Studio 2018 and up, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • This position will serve as the second developer actively rewriting this system that has been in place and continually evolving since 2007.
  • This is an agile environment with defined sprints and associated processes (daily morning standups, estimation, retrospectives, etc).

Required Skills:

  • 5 Years - ITerative software development lifecycle in an agile environment
  • 5 Years - N-Tier (UI, service layer, etc) software development with .NET technologies
  • 5 Years - SDLC tools (Azure DevOps/TFS/GIT/etc)
  • 5 Years - ASP.NET web services, SOAP, XML, WSDL, JSON
  • 5 Years - .net framework 3.5+ (C#, vb.net, asp.net)
  • 5 Years - creation/maintenance/modifying SQL Server database objects (tables, views, etc)

Desired Skills:

  • 2 Years - Angular
