Job Details

Job Title: Network Administrator
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Network SME (Subject Matter Expert) with in-depth knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud networking to design, implement, and optimize secure and scalable network solutions. This is a remote opportunity ideal for candidates with strong technical documentation skills and proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SD-WAN & SASE Implementation:
    Design, deploy, and manage secure and high-performance SD-WAN and SASE solutions.

  • Cloud Networking:
    Architect, implement, and support cloud-based network infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Technical Documentation:
    Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration standards, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs.

  • Stakeholder Management:
    Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to align network strategies with operational goals.

  • Network Optimization & Troubleshooting:
    Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for low latency and high availability.

  • Security & Compliance:
    Implement best practices in zero-trust architecture, encryption, and network security policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with SD-WAN (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VMware NSX) and SASE technologies.

  • Solid experience in cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid environments.

  • Proficient in creating technical documentation (network diagrams, SOPs, knowledge base content).

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with network security tools including firewalls, VPNs, load balancers.

  • Familiarity with network automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE, or AWS/Azure Networking.

  • Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and change management workflows.
