Description:
Job Title: Systems Engineer - Radar Systems
Location: Camden, NJ
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics, or a related STEM field.
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Systems engineering
- Software/system analysis
- Requirements development
- Verification & validation
- Trade studies
- Modeling & simulation
- Integration & test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in:
- C++ or another object-oriented programming language
- MATLAB for analysis, modeling, and test automation
- Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation and CI/CD tooling
- Experience with tools such as DOORS, Git, and Confluence
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to produce clear technical documentation and deliver concise briefings
Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and radar performance analysis, requirements allocation, algorithm development, and interface definition to convert customer-defined radar requirements into detailed software specifications.
- Develop high-fidelity models and run simulations to evaluate radar system performance.
- Contribute as an individual contributor to system design and testing for radar systems, supporting agile systems engineering processes including scrum meetings and sprint planning.
- Execute system verification activities, integration and test, and support certification and testing milestones.
- Engage in radar systems development including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
