Role: Senior Java Full Stack Developer / Senior Java Lead with Angular
Location: NYC, NY (Day 1 Onsite, Hybrid 3 days in office)
Note: Local or nearby-state consultants preferred

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Java Developer to join our Prime Brokerage & Secured Financing Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, developing sophisticated software for Fixed Income and Equity trading businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.

  • Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues efficiently.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Python, Linux, and SQL.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience with Java.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring frameworks (especially Spring Boot).

  • Strong Angular experience is required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with RESTful services.

  • Familiarity with Scala or C++.

  • Experience with databases like Sybase ASE, DB2, and strong SQL skills.

  • Knowledge of Prime Brokerage or Securities Financing/Lending is a plus (not mandatory).
