Description APPLE INC has the following available in Seattle, Washington. Research, design, and develop software or specialized utility programs for the App Store. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis .Responsible for building Spark or Scala pipelines, metrics, and performance of related analysis to determine whether metrics are valid for intended function to support the App Store. Design and develop large scale, big data Extract, transform and load multiple pipelines. Work with Cross-Functional Analytics teams to curate and assimilate insights on the growth of App Store. Design and develop reusable toolkit, library, framework to support the architecture and ease of future implementations in App Store. Responsible for engineering and analysis on new projects and features on App Store. Use external and internal tools like Azkaban, Airflow, Data-pipelines3 to orchestrate, schedule, maintain and monitor production pipeline. Assist stakeholders with data analysis and design data models. Provide highest quality of data to consumers by debugging and fixing any existing data issues on the App Store Data. Implement product lifecycle with continuous integration, testing methodologies, test-driven development and agile development methodologies to produce high fidelity products and solutions that will improve the App Store customer experience. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,259 - $204,000/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• 2 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
• Building concurrent and parallel processing applications using Scala
• ScalaTest testing framework to write unit tests to handle real time user engagement streaming data
• Spark core libraries for distributed data processing
• Spark SQL and data frames
• Design and implement data storage solutions on Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).
• Monitor, troubleshoot and ensure the performance and reliability of Hadoop environments.
• Design ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data ingestion into Hive
• Design and implement high-throughput, fault-tolerant data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines for real-time data processing.
