Purpose of this job
Recent reorganization in ASM department.
Role was initially filled by a junior resource from ASM, but the person is not a fit for the level of responsibility.
Hence, opening a senior-level Change Manager role.
Key Requirements
Senior-level professional, not just executor but also strategic driver.
Able to understand stakeholder goals and shape organizational change accordingly.
Strong in Organizational Change Management (OCM).
Must be able to:
- Operate at high-level strategy.
- Engage leaders (including Luis' boss) in meaningful conversations.
- Create well-structured OCM plans and drive execution.
- Leverage Adobe's internal tools and communication channels effectively.
- Communication skills must be flawless no grammatical errors, polished stakeholder-ready delivery.
Initiatives Requiring Senior-Level Support
1. Ongoing Initiatives (Current Year / Running)
Enterprise Resilience existing junior resource is not meeting expectations; requires strategic leadership.
Centralized Knowledge Base in ServiceNow requires structured communication, education, and adoption planning.
2. Planned Initiatives (Next Year)
Multiple initiatives in planning phase; some may not fully materialize.
Need a trustworthy, senior professional to provide guidance, strategy, and execution support across these initiatives.
Job Sumary
As a Senior Change Manager in Adobe Technology Services you will be supporting one or more initiatives that impact strategic goals at Adobe. You will partner with leaders, program managers, product managers, and subject matter experts to define and implement end to end change plans that support the business goals of the program to minimize disruption and increase end user adoption.
Responsibilities
Develop and strengthen relationships, collaborating with executive sponsors, program team members, and functional partners to effectively drive organizational change for technology programs
Assess the magnitude of a given change and recommend the appropriate level of engagement to successfully minimize disruption and drive adoption
Deliver on all areas of change including stakeholder and end user identification and engagement, change impacts and readiness, communications at all levels, training assessment and development, anticipating and addressing resistance, reinforcement, etc.
Drive continuous improvement, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from other Adobe programs, flexing plans to the needs of the business
Partner with business and technical teams to deliver on the change management plans of the program
Establish and report on metrics for business reading, leading indicators, and end user adoption
Provide post release support to end users (office hours, communications, training materials revision, etc.) as needed in partnership with the program team
What you need to succeed
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Organizational Change Management, Communications, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Proven expertise in organizational change principles and application, including at least 7 years of relevant experience; certification is a plus
Exceptional communication skills using multiple formats including but not limited to email, PPT, SharePoint/Wiki, newsletters, video, and infographics
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to establish and maintain trusting relationships
Ability to empower and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal without authority or a direct reporting relationship
Flexibility and resourcefulness; resilience in ambiguous situations
Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions and levels in an organization
Technical capability and demonstrated use of metrics and analytics
Intermediate or sophisticated graphic design skills to support visual storytelling; experience with Adobe suite is desirable
