Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and
detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Data Center Operations
team. In this role, you will lead new projects from initiation through
completion, driving progress and enabling our teams to deliver high-impact
results.. You'll work with a national organization that partners with a global
edge-to-cloud leader-helping businesses connect, protect, analyze, and act on
their data and applications from edge to cloud. Together, we turn insights into
outcomes at the speed required to thrive in today's complex digital landscape.





  • Lead
and manage infrastructure and hardware-related projects across physical
and virtual environments.
  • Collaborate
with development teams to create capacity models and forecasts based on
business growth, usage trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Maintain
and assess hardware inventory, identifying opportunities for reuse and
lifecycle extension.
  • Develop
strategies for hardware redeployment, upgrades, and refurbishment.
  • Partner
with finance teams to build budget estimates and identify cost-saving
opportunities.
  • Communicate
technical requirements and capacity planning strategies to stakeholders.
  • Plan
and allocate physical space in data centers, ensuring power and cooling
needs are met.
  • Establish
and promote standardized capacity planning methodologies and best
practices.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related
field.
  • 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, infrastructure management, or IT
resource forecasting.
  • strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and data center operations.
  • Experience
designing and managing physical labs and environments, including port
mapping.
  • Proficiency
in budgeting, procurement, and financial planning in IT environments.
  • Familiarity
with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Experience
with data analysis tools and capacity planning software.
  • Understanding
of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Exposure
to automation and monitoring tools for capacity planning.
