Job Details
A Quality Engineer position in Grand Rapids, MI is available courtesy of Akkodis. The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards and customer requirements. This role focuses on identifying and correcting defects, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position operates at the site level and reports to the Quality Manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams in design, engineering, and production to support product excellence and compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
Automotive and plastic injection molded experience is required.
Pay: $75,000 - $90,000
Quality Engineer job Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, work instructions, inspection procedures, and visual aids
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum of over three years quality engineering experience
Must have automotive experience
Experience with: PPAPs, PFMEA; Root Cause Analysis; Problem Solving; APQP
Must have experience working in plastics

- Support validation of new processes, equipment, and product launches through structured testing and verification methods.
Qualifications:
