Title: Developer-Led Growth (DLG) Marketing Contractor
Location: San Francisco, CA / 100% Remote
Duration: 4-6 months contract+
Key Responsibilities
As our Developer-led Growth Marketing Contractor, you'll manage a variety of marketing initiatives and vendor relationships. Your primary duties will include:
- Vendor Management: You'll be the main point of contact for key paid advertising vendors including Google, Reddit, SourceForge, and BuySell Ads. This involves attending regular check-ins, optimizing campaigns, and issuing new insertion orders (IOs) as needed.
- Performance Monitoring: You'll regularly check campaign performance using dashboards and budget documents. Your goal is to identify which channels require the most attention and make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance.
- Reporting & Analysis: You'll prepare quarterly reviews for the DLG team, summarizing performance from the previous quarter. You'll also use existing templates to create these reports, drawing on data from various dashboards.
- Project Execution: You'll manage specific projects as they come up, responding to shifting product launches and budget allocations.
- Documentation: You'll use our Asana board to track tasks and refer to existing "how-to" guides and documents for project execution.

Required Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in Marketing, with an understanding of the marketing and/or product-led growth funnel (e.g. TOFU metrics, CTRs, etc.).
Ability to manipulate data (via Excel or Google sheets), and experience with Salesforce and Tableau, is preferred. Extra bonus points for experience marketing to and/or working closely with software developers.
- Vendor Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for managing external vendor relationships and attending regular meetings.
- Data Analysis: You should be comfortable working with dashboards and data to monitor campaign performance and make strategic adjustments as needed.
- Autonomy: You'll be expected to work independently, manage your own time, and prioritize tasks.
- Tools & Platforms: Experience with Asana and advertising platforms like Google is a plus.
