CONTRACT PROJECT MANAGER ERP MIGRATION - Non Technical

LOCATION: REMOTE

DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS

 

Looking for a Project Manager out of a manufacturing / Supply Chain enterprise company. You manage the ERP Migration (preferrably SAP) You will oversee SAFA. You will travel to Lake Forest on location 5%-10%

The ERP Project Manager specializing in manufacturing will play a critical role in overseeing the successful implementation and migration of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems within the company's manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring the ERP solution aligns with business objectives, streamlines processes, and optimizes efficiency throughout the manufacturing value chain

Qualification:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of project management experience with ERP implementations in manufacturing are typically required. A proven history of managing complex ERP projects is also expected.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is important. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (Microsoft Project, Jira) is often necessary. Experience with data migration, integration, and business process re-engineering in manufacturing environments is also valuable.
  • Soft Skills: Key soft skills include strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities for engaging stakeholders at all levels. Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial. The ability to work well in a team and manage multiple priorities is also important. Experience with change management is beneficial. A PMP certification is often preferred.
