Job Details
Job Title: Manual Machinist (Lathe, Bridgeport, CNC Operation)
Temp to perm
First Shift Temp to perm
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Machinist with hands-on experience operating manual lathes, Bridgeport mills, and CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines to produce precision parts and components to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual lathes, Bridgeport milling machines, and CNC machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders.
- Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain part accuracy and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure work area is clean and safe.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery or processes and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
