Developer V

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Developer V.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the assessment and documentation of current and target-state processes and functional requirements across the enterprise
* Collaborate with customers and enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support enterprise goals
* Implement efficient end-to-end processes and maximize the use of existing IT assets
* Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives
* Develop an integrated view of the enterprise using industry-standard techniques, frameworks, and best practices
* Design, develop, deploy, and manage applications on EKS and other cloud platforms
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on projects of similar scope and complexity

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
* Professional certifications are highly desirable
* Over 15 years of relevant experience, including leading teams on projects of similar scope and complexity
* Proven experience as a lead developer for projects with comparable responsibilities and challenges
* Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
* Strong knowledge of programming languages, application servers, database servers, and system architecture
* Advanced expertise in Python and other modern programming languages to address business needs
* Expertise in designing, developing, deploying, and managing applications on EKS
* Hands-on experience with AWS services
* Solid understanding of microservices and containerization
* Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies: J2EE, Java, EJB, ASP, PowerBuilder, C, C++, SQL, CGI, Windows, NT, Visual Basic, Oracle, Sybase, MQ Series

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
