Description:

The IT Field Services Technician - is responsible for support and maintenance to technology equipment within the Operations Center. Second level ticket escalation for software, hardware, and network systems. Imaging and installation of new employee workstations, as well as department relocations and other technical projects.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Handling daily trouble tickets for the Operations Center.
  • Supporting desktops, laptops, printers, phones, satellite and audio\video equipment.
  • Imaging and installation of employee workstations.
  • Validating, processing, and ordering equipment for new requests.
  • Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing printers and multifunction copiers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on various technology equipment.
  • Technical support for Woodforest Executives.
  • Performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and concern for data accuracy.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and technical writing skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
  • Technical aptitude with broad knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, basic networking.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and multitask in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to provide after hours and weekend support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
1+ years of technology support experience or equivalent.
3+ years of computer trouble-shooting and repair skills with broad knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, networking, AV and office technology equipment.
Operation of a motor vehicle, clean driving record and valid driver s license required. (May be asked to use personal vehicle, must maintain a dependable vehicle.) Formal Education & Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate s degree preferred.
Must be able to achieve relevant technical certifications for the organization s systems, applications and equipment

Travel:

Up to 10% local travel expected.

Working Conditions:

Conditions involve lifting of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds with frequent sitting, walking, reaching, bending and standing for brief periods primarily in an office environment with frequent travel or driving to various work sites or locations.
