Job Title: Office Assistant (On-Site)
Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6 months to start, with potential for extension or contract-to-hire
About the Role
A fast-paced and innovative company in Mountain View is seeking a Temporary Office Assistant to support front desk and facilities operations. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in visitor registration and general office/facilities support, and will bring a warm, professional demeanor to the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
- Manage front desk operations and maintain building security, including daily perimeter checks
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and office deliveries
- Maintain office snack and beverage supplies, including coffee machine upkeep
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for facility-related issues
- Support general office and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
- 1 2+ years of experience in administrative, office, or facilities support roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and Slack
- Comfortable using iPads for visitor check-in
- Dependable, adaptable, and proactive in a dynamic environment
- Must be available to work on-site in Mountain View, CA, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate s degree or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a tech company environment
