Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine manufacturing processes to support new product development.
  • Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE) to identify and mitigate process risks early in the product lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with different teams to drive successful product launches.
  • Increase throughput and reduce waste in automated manufacturing processes through targeted improvements and optimization.
  • Develop and enforce quality protocols to identify and resolve underlying causes of production problems.
  • Collaborate on design and implementation of equipment enhancements and ensure accurate records and maintenance.
  • Contribute to initiatives that drive efficiency gains and cost reductions, tracking progress through key performance metrics.
  • Lead efforts to optimize specific production areas, focusing on consistent performance and meeting output goals.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience (Minimum of five years) in operations or process optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PFMEA, DOE, and DFM/DFA methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of automation systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Experience working in high-volume, continuous-flow manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles; green/black belt certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Experience in electric vehicle (EV), consumer electronics, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Participation in project launches and collaborative efforts across functions.
  • Prior work with printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) testing, adhesive dispensing, or mechanical joining processes.
