Title: Business Analyst
Location: EST or CST Time Zone
Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
Pay: $55-$60/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
The Business Analyst will support the Store of the Future program and the E-Receipt migration initiative by translating business needs into actionable requirements. This role involves stakeholder engagement, requirements documentation, and collaboration with agile delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create artifacts such as epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows aligned with agile practices.
- Maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure alignment across project phases.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and backlog refinement meetings with cross-functional teams.
- Act as a liaison between business units, product managers, UX designers, and development teams.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
- Validate deliverables against acceptance criteria and business objectives.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of Store+ enhancements and e-receipt capabilities.
- Define requirements for in-store digital experiences, inventory visibility, and clientele enhancements.
- Document data elements, API specifications, and integration requirements for E-Receipt migration from FlexReceipts to Yocuda.
- Ensure compliance with security and consent management standards.
- Analyze customer feedback and operational metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to innovation initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst in retail or digital product environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, backlog refinement, and user story mapping.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and visualization tools (Figma familiarity is a plus).
- Understanding of APIs, JSON structures, and integration patterns.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Store+ platform enhancements and digital receipt solutions.
- Exposure to AI-driven tools for requirement analysis and documentation.
