Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee technology initiatives within our manufacturing operations in Lansing, Michigan. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing cross-functional teams, delivering IT projects efficiently, and ensuring that our technology infrastructure aligns with business goals. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions while fostering collaboration across departments.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise cross-functional teams to execute IT projects on schedule and within budget.
Develop and implement technology strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Manage IT resources, including hardware, software, and personnel, to ensure optimal performance.
Oversee the integration of cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure, into existing systems.
Coordinate enterprise-level technology solutions using platforms such as MuleSoft and Cisco.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IT operations.
Drive formal project management processes to maintain efficiency and accountability.
Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering growth and development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any risks or challenges proactively.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management or project leadership roles.
Proven expertise in cross-functional and formal project management.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure.
Experience with enterprise platforms such as MuleSoft and Cisco technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
Familiarity with manufacturing industry IT needs is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
