Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Salesforce Solution Architect to join a leading healthcare team based in Toronto. This role is part of the Solution Architecture team supporting patient services and will focus on designing scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce Health Cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge across Salesforce, data integrations, and cloud platforms, with a passion for improving patient and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture and implementation of Salesforce Health Cloud and associated platforms
Design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that support patient programs and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
Define technical strategy and integration approaches with third-party services (e.g., benefits verification, co-pay)
Provide architectural oversight for Health Cloud implementations, including integrations with Snowflake, Informatica, AWS S3, and Python
Create and maintain system documentation and architecture artifacts (C4 models, diagrams, etc.)
Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) work to validate feasibility of proposed solutions
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP requirements throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to ensure proper implementation of architecture
Monitor and streamline the solution architecture for performance and reusability
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Salesforce best practices
Required Qualifications:
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (preferred)
Extensive experience in Salesforce Health Cloud architecture and implementation
Strong knowledge of OmniStudio (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, Data Raptors)
Experience designing secure, scalable APIs and data integrations
Solid understanding of FHIR, patient privacy, and consent management
Experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Python)
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, GxP)
Proficient in Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Nice to Have:
Experience with additional Salesforce platforms (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, Veeva, etc.)
Exposure to AI/ML, data masking, or anonymization technologies
Familiarity with DevOps tools like AutoRabbit, GitHub, Terraform
Experience creating architecture models (C4) and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau)
Knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
Additional Information:
Onsite Requirement: 3 days a week in the downtown Toronto office
Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications
