Indotronix is seeking a QA Analyst in the Cleveland, OH, location with our direct client
Position Title: QA Analyst
Position Location:
1. Most Preferred –Cleveland, OH
2. Second Preferred (Will only consider)– Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, or Dallas, TX hubs
Ability to work remote: Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote
Acceptable time zone(s): EST, possible flexibility discussion if in TX
Days of the week: M-F 40 hours; 1 monthly release on Saturday night
Working Hours (Flexible): M-F 8 AM-5 PM EST; 1 monthly weekend/night release
Duration: Contract to hire
Industry background:
Would prefer a background in either banking, health or retail – something that deals with personal data.
Roles and Responsibilities: Kafka Tester
•Strong understanding of Kafka concepts, including topics, partitions, consumers, producers, and security.
•Hands-on required on Oracle and Mongo - able to write queries based on mapping logic
•Must have Message testing experience (JSON, Avro, Kafka etc).
•Strong in Kafka client configuration and troubleshooting Kafka issues
•Experience in continuous integration and automated testing.
•Able to verify the integrity of data flowing through Kafka, including data serialization/deserialization, and data validation.
•Design, Develop and execute test plans and scenarios to verify Kafka functionality, including data production, consumption, and message processing.
•Working knowledge and experience of Postman, Git.
•Agile ceremonies, X-ray and Jira/Confluence experience
•Design, develop and execute test cases for API's using Postman and Swagger
•Validate JSON responses with proper response codes, performance and error handling
•Perform both manual and automated testing of APIs
•Strong hands-on required on SQL, Oracle and Mongo Must Have Technical Skills: Swagger
•API design, documentation, generation Postman
•API testing, development SQL Oracle Mongo X-ray Jira/Confluence Strong knowledge of API testing disciplines and methodologies.

• Interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's in a related technology field preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of education
Interview Process:
1st round video – 30 min to 1 hour, with 2-3 members from their respective teams and possibly hiring manager if can join 2nd round – optional, if needed
