Job Title: Senior Software Trainer & QA Analyst
Location: Washington, DC

Overview

Seeking an experienced professional to train DCPS school-based and central office staff on Aspen SIS and support system improvements through testing and Tier II support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver virtual and in-person Aspen SIS training for school and central office users.

  • Create and update training materials (manuals, videos, guides, SharePoint).

  • Provide Tier II Aspen SIS support; resolve issues and track tickets.

  • Manage user inquiries through help desk systems.

  • Test and validate new SIS features; document results.

  • Collaborate with teams to enhance system functionality and user experience.

  • Maintain organized documentation and provide strong customer service.

Required Skills

  • 1+ year training DCPS school-based & central office users in Aspen SIS.

  • 4+ years hands-on Aspen SIS experience.

  • 2+ years working with help desk tools (Remedy, HEAT, etc.).

  • 5+ years creating instructional materials (PPT, Captivate, SharePoint, video tools).

  • 10+ years customer service/user support experience.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Education sector experience preferred.
