Role: Salesforce Technical Architect

Location: Cranston, RI (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-month contract (possible extension)
Hours: 35 hours/week
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 4:00 PM

Job Description

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and support of a Salesforce-based system within a public-sector environment. This role will work closely with project teams, leadership, and implementation partners to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce solutions that follow established standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business requirements and project goals are met
  • Review and oversee Salesforce technical architecture and solution design
  • Lead technical design sessions and document architecture solutions
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and platform guidelines
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and proper design patterns
  • Lead data migration efforts from legacy systems
  • Design and support data sharing and third-party integrations
  • Support custom development, integrations, deployments, and maintenance
  • Ensure solutions align with security, performance, and scalability standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of Salesforce CRM experience as an Architect or Architect/Implementor
  • Expert knowledge of the Salesforce platform and product suite
  • Strong experience with system architecture and scalable solution design
  • Hands-on experience with data migration and large data sets
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and data sharing models
  • Knowledge of authentication methods (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
  • Understanding of release management, deployments, and version control
  • Experience with Salesforce security standards and protocols

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions
