Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.

What You Will Do:

Life Cycle Engineering seeks an Integrated Logistics Support Engineering Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for executing tasks in the areas of Domestic and International Spare Materials Provisioning, Level of Repair Analysis, Training and Technical Documentation, Sustainment Engineering, Maintenance Planning, Support Equipment and PHS&T (Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation).

Additional responsibilities will include:
  • Creating and presenting proposals to US Navy customers.
  • Leading improvements to business system integrity and spares planning and level of repair analysis methodologies.
  • Creating and delivering technical documents and training programs for domestic and international customers to enable maintenance, handling, testing, and troubleshooting of missile hardware.
  • Developing logistics planning documents such as Maintenance Plans, Demilitarization and Disposal Plans and PHS&T Management Plans.
  • Overseeing container management process, including assessment and validation of shipping containers, support and Ordnance Handling Equipment to align with existing hardware flow need and fleet requirements and resolving discrepancies as required.
  • Supporting Navy Cataloging Services, including development / updates to product Catalog Round Major Parts Interchangeability and Service Life Data
  • Monitoring engineering processes to identify changes that may impact ILS processes or deliverables.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Experience with logistics, sustainment, system fielding, and/or depot functions.
  • Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Familiarity with OPUS, PRISM, and/or LOKI software tools.
  • Understanding of depot hardware handling and transportation requirements.
  • Broad knowledge of ILS processes, including sustainment and supportability principles and concepts.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
