Job Title: Field Service Technician (MAC Support)

Location: East Point, GA (Onsite Position)

Duration: Long-Term Contract (6+ Months, likely to extend).

Pay rate - In the rate range $21/hr - $23/hr on W2/Danta Technologies Payroll.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician with strong MAC support experience to join our IT support team in East Point, GA. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting end-user systems in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on MAC desktop and laptop support, including configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and software installation.
  • Offer end-user support for hardware (MacBook, iMac) and peripherals (printers, monitors, etc.).
  • Handle routine MAC OS maintenance tasks such as patching, imaging, and backups.
  • Support and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other directory systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, VPN, printing).
  • Assist with mobile device support (iPhones, iPads, etc.).
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate Tier 2/3 teams or vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, actions taken, and resolutions.
  • Participate in asset inventory tracking and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those for security and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in Field Service / Desktop Support roles.
  • Strong hands-on MAC support experience (macOS environments).
  • Proficiency with Apple hardware and MDM tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune).
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS support a plus.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift equipment (up to 30 lbs.) and work onsite.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), CompTIA A+ or equivalent.
  • Experience in enterprise or higher education environments.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
