Our client, a leader in their industry, has an exciting opportunity for a Wi-Fi Engineer.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $48 - $56 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
- Participates in wireless network planning, wireless network architecture design and engineering.
- Integrates and schematically depicts communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, transmission and signaling links and protocols into complete wireless network configurations.
- Evaluates new products, performs wireless network problem resolution.
- Develops and implements approved methods of procedure.
- Designs, develops and implements wireless network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.
Experience Requirements:
- 3+ years with Wi-Fi Experience, or related experience working with hardware in a lab/testing environment
- Experienced with testing equipment and test methodologies
- Lab testing of hardware (CPE preferred)
- In depth knowledge of the 802.11 protocol (able to speak on differences and features)
- Experience creating test cases that investigate and validate HW compliance with 802.11 protocols and features
- Preferred: Enterprise Controller
- Able to work independently in a highly collaborative team
- Able to work on-site in a lab environment
- Passionate about continuous learning
- Self-motivated and driven
- Attention to detail, meticulous
- Excellent emotional intelligence - handling social situations, stress management, self regulation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to think outside the box and is creative!
Additional Skills:
- Experience working with any MSO, Chipset Provider or Wi-Fi Vendor
- Experience with 802.11 standard
- Experience with the following testing tools: Ixia, Spirent, Octobox and Rhode & Schwarz
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
