We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that will collaborate and build innovative solutions to grow Microsoft's commerce reach to new and exciting places. Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a team of diverse and talented peers and foster an environment where group success outweighs individual success.
  • Provide high quality technical leadership, raise the technical bar, maintain data and results-driven culture, nurture a team culture of high collaboration and trust.
  • Lead the team in using AI to innovate the engineering process.
  • D rive detailed designs into world-class solutions that perform securely and reliably on a global scale.
  • Optimize existing and future systems end-to-end, improving the Development, Build, Test, Deployment, and Production monitoring to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Come up with creative solutions to develop innovative interaction models to create compelling user experiences.
  • Execute in an agile model where you do up-front sprint planning, participate in scrums, and maintain a good glide path towards completion.Own accurate costing for your engineering activities and execute with high accountability to schedule and quality.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor systems/products/services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and taking action to restore system/product/services for simple and complex problems when appropriate.
  • Maintain an unwavering focus on our customers and the value you can deliver to them.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience designing and developing software in a full stack capacity
  • Proficiency with C# and experience with building and deploying Azure services
  • Outstanding technical problem solving and debugging capability
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating solutions leveraging Azure
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
