Role: Business System Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC - Hybrid

Duration: Long term

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems, processes, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications for development teams.
• Work closely with software developers and QA analysts to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with company standards.
• Participate in system testing and quality assurance to validate functionality and resolve issues.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and facilitate user training sessions as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the insurance domain.
• Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot system issues, and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum [X] years) as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance industry processes, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting, and regulatory compliance.
