Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master with strong exposure to Telecom domain projects to join our team in Basking Ridge, NJ. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, support high-performing cross-functional teams, and ensure successful delivery of complex telecom initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams working on telecom-related projects.
Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Coach team members on Agile/Scrum best practices to promote continuous improvement.
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure well-refined backlogs and clear sprint goals.
Identify and remove impediments or blockers to ensure smooth delivery.
Track and report team performance metrics (velocity, burndown charts, capacity planning, etc.).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment.
Drive SAFe or other scaled agile framework practices (if required by the program).
Ensure adherence to Agile processes and organizational standards.
Foster a culture of transparency, trust, ownership, and accountability within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
Strong experience working with Telecom clients or telecom-based projects (mandatory).
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
Experience managing cross-functional distributed teams.
Hands-on experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Rally, Confluence, etc.).
Proven ability to remove impediments and improve team productivity.
Excellent communication, facilitation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
Scrum Master certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAFe, Kanban, or other scaled agile methodologies.
Prior experience working in large enterprise environments.
Telecom OSS/BSS knowledge is a plus.
Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or a related field.
